This Privacy Policy is a genuine commitment from PT MUNARA ORIGINAL MEDIA (hereinafter referred to as “ORINEWS.id”) to respect and protect every personal data or information of users of the https://orinews.id/ website, including its sub-sites and the ORINEWS.id mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Site/Application”), which forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions that can be viewed on this page.

This Privacy Policy (along with the terms of use of the Site/Application as stated in the “Terms and Conditions” and other information listed on the Site/Application) governs the acquisition, collection, processing, analysis, display, disclosure, and/or all forms of management related to the data or information provided by users to ORINEWS.id or collected by ORINEWS.id from users, including personal data, whether at the time the user registers on the Site/Application, accesses it, or uses its services (hereinafter referred to as “Data”).

Use features that require access to the User’s device;
Submit other data through third-party services related to the use of the Site/Application.

2. Data recorded during use of the Site/Application, including but not limited to:

Real or approximate location data, such as IP address, Wi-Fi location, geo-location, etc.;
Timestamp data for each activity, such as registration, login, service usage, payments, etc.;
Usage or preference data, including user interactions, saved preferences, and selected settings, gathered through cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies;
Device data, including device model, OS and version, software, file names and versions, language preference, unique identifiers, ad identifiers, serial numbers, motion data, mobile network information, and additional data based on browser or app permissions;

Camera access on the User’s device, only after obtaining the User’s consent when first required, and limited to features or services that require camera use for optimal functionality.

Business partners that assist ORINEWS.id in developing and delivering services, such as publication services, payment services, delivery partners, telecom providers, etc.;
Third parties used by Users to create or access ORINEWS.id accounts, such as social media platforms or third-party apps using the ORINEWS.id API;
Marketing service providers;
Publicly available sources. ORINEWS.id may combine such data with other Data it holds.

B. Use of Data

ORINEWS.id may use all or part of the Data collected for the following purposes:

Process any requests, applications, activities, or transactions conducted by the User through the Site/Application.
Provide features to deliver, realize, maintain, and/or improve products and services, including:

Offering, obtaining, providing, or facilitating ORINEWS.id services or other products through the Site/Application;

When Users contact ORINEWS.id through public channels such as blogs, social media, or public features on the Site/Application, such communications may be publicly visible.
Share User information with subsidiaries and/or affiliates to help deliver services or process Data on behalf of ORINEWS.id.
Disclose User Data to comply with legal obligations or valid requests from law enforcement or government authorities.

D. Cookies

Cookies are small files that are automatically placed on the User’s device, functioning to store the User’s preferences or configurations during visits to a website.

ORINEWS.id provides links to Third-Party Sites/Applications and/or Third-Party Content solely for User convenience, and such provision may not be construed as endorsement, adoption, sponsorship, or affiliation between ORINEWS.id and such Third-Party Sites/Applications and/or Third-Party Content.

F. User Choices and Transparency

Most mobile devices (iOS, Android, etc.) have settings that prevent the ORINEWS.id app from accessing certain Data without the User’s consent. The device will notify the User when the ORINEWS.id app first requests access to such Data.
Users may access and modify information such as email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, address list, payment methods, and/or credit card numbers via the settings feature in the Site/Application.
To the extent permitted by applicable regulations, Users may contact ORINEWS.id to withdraw their consent for the acquisition, collection, storage, management, and use of their Data. In such case, the User understands the consequence that they may not be able to use Publication Services or other services available on the Site/Application.
ORINEWS.id will inform the User in the event of a failure to protect the User’s Data or confidential information by providing written notification along with the reason or cause for the failure within no more than 14 (fourteen) calendar days from when the failure was discovered.

G. Data Retention and Deletion

ORINEWS.id will retain information as long as the User’s account remains active.
ORINEWS.id will retain Data until a request is made to withdraw consent or delete information regarding the acquisition, collection, storage, management, and use of the Data by the User through Customer Service.
ORINEWS.id will delete User account information in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

H. Privacy Policy Updates

ORINEWS.id may modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. ORINEWS.id recommends that Users carefully read and review this Privacy Policy page periodically to stay informed of any changes. By continuing to access and use the services on the Site/Application or other ORINEWS.id services, the User is deemed to agree to such changes in the Privacy Policy.

I. Miscellaneous

This Privacy Policy is created and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
The section titles in this Privacy Policy are provided for reference only and do not define, limit, explain, or describe the contents of each section.
This Privacy Policy has been written in the Indonesian language and shall be binding upon both ORINEWS.id and the User.
